Assignmment Summary

In conclusion I have learned many things from this class. One would be our compare and contrast paper. This paper helped me view different media outlets such as a USA Today and TLC television network. I figured out that while both media outlets may not always succeed in it's mission to make make Muslims in America acceptable, it does however bring the issue to the forefront.

After reading this article I realized that the entire coaching staff in this matter is corrupt. I don't think anyone did enough during this investigation and it was handled poorly. I don't like that everyone wants to protect this one man and this one college football team. It really goes to show you that someone with a lot of power and money can control anyone.

Second Media Review

This advertisement made me think twice about the negative aspect's of Halloween. Halloween is already looked down upon for many different religious reasons. I was surprise to find out how destructive it can be from a cultural point of view. I realised that many kids can find these costumes funny instead of offensive, I think it is important to have these advertised every where so kids can grow up and understand the true meaning of what these costumes represent to others.
